It doesn't stop there, though! I have two grandparents on my mom's side who I spend every Friday and Saturday night with when I am home. We play cards every time were together and we keep track of who wins for the whole year. My mom has three brothers, two of which are married with kids and the other brother is handicap and lives in a group home. My dad's parents passed away before I was born, but he is one of thirteen children. About half of them are married with kids and the other half are divorced or have never been married. One of my father's brothers is also handicap and lives in a group home, as well. All together I have thirty-five first cousins ranging from somewhere in the forties to five years old. With such a large family, it's hard to keep everyone straight and there is always guaranteed drama!
Within the next couple of months or so, I have many family gatherings to mentally prepare myself for. I have a cousin's bridal shower, graduation parties, wedding dress shopping for my sister, my sister's engagement party, and best of all...Elsa's christening.
I am mostly excited for Elsa's christening because my brother asked me to be her godmother because he is my godfather. He always spoiled me as a I grew up so I know that I have a lot to live up to!
